  Hampton's is an upscale priced restaurant in Sumter. That being the case.....Gumbo soup was very good and after having it as an appetiser I expected similar from the main course. Salads served to those around us looked spectacular. Grouper last night was delivered to my wife burned on one side. Ravioli tasted nothing like the menu described. Poor/low quality ravioli's. Desert took over 30 minutes to show up. We asked no less than 3 times about the deserts we ordered. O0ey Gooey bread came to us cold and less than average. Creme Brulee............came cold, tasted like bland pudding, not the rich custard French classic with vanilla bean and caramelized sugar. Yes it was caramelized. Pricing is not in line with the quality of the meals at Hampton's. Waiters are young, engaging and well dressed. Not an experienced group. Maître d handled seating professionally, but no one watching out for the diners experience. That's definitely missing. Very nice Decor to be sure. Enjoy. $$$
